This very unusual yet totally functional tack box hails from Nth America.
The Timber was originally used in a tannery & the leather was pinned to the timber rails to dry out & await tanning.
It has hundreds & hundreds of tiny ‘tack holes’ in the timber & still has the old leather smell to the piece.
Such an amazing item of history & recycling at its best!
Only the 1 available & no more coming.
Size - 32cm x 21cm across base x 12.75cm high total.
Please Note - These are pin tack holes in the timber not borer holes!
