This beautiful old cream stoneware vinegar bottle from France dates back to the late 1800’s.
Made from salt glazed clay pottery the look is timeless.
In lovely worn condition for its age & a beautifully thick rolled lip this makes it a lovely feature.
Any marks & crazing are in the outer glaze only, don’t expect new & perfect as this is a one off character bottle.
The piece is very old & heavy, slightly taller than the standard Scottish beer bottles & would look lovely added to an existing collection.
